My friend James Feeney Playing the Kyo poly pipe chanter. The Earl of Seaforth Salute.
Yoko And I were married in Osaka in 1999. We are absolutely crazy about each other. Each year we spend a month in Japan. I keep a work bench there with duplicate engraving tools so I can keep working while Yoko is out with her friends. Her family has always been extremely supportive. Colin Kyo is our son's name. Kyozo was Yoko's grandfather. Thus the name Kyo. Ojiisan was very generous to us and enthusiastic about my work. We have a lovely little home in Southern Oregon. Yoko loves to garden and she is a Zumba instructor. When I am not working in the shop I am a homebrewer. I keep 9 taps going. IPA, Lager, Stout, Porter, and Belgian style ales.
Our children are adults now and involved in their careers. We are very close and we spend a lot of time together. I rely on them to evaluate my work and my piping. They keep me on track. They understand the focus it takes to provide the best work.
Yoko and I love travelling. We snapped this photo in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.
